CompSoc is a local society, for local people.

There’s been a rather worrying amount of talk about CompSoc “not being the same” anymore, or people worrying that they “don’t recognise most of these names” at the upcoming LAN. Well, hate to break it you, but this is one of the signs of a healthy society.
