I saw it when I was 14 — [one] shot stayed with me. You're on the character's face in the car; then as they pass something, the camera pans to see what's happening outside even though the characters don't see it. That is so audiacious because you're with these characters, then suddenly the movie is showing you something different. This image made me realise you can tell a road trip movie while making subtle commentaries on the character's journey.
