I suspect that if the real extent of advertising fraud was better understood it would genuinely shake retail investors confidence in Google and Facebook. And, given that tech stocks are basically propping up a significant part of the economy right now, we would see a major market change, a huge disruption of the VC market and, in turn, insane levels of job losses due to a broad lack of confidence in tech to produce future returns. So why does this documentary make it sound both so complicated and uninteresting?
