RAID-5 rocks my world, baby

It seems hard drives don't particularly like strange powercuts and being subjected to a two-hour ride in an old Land Rover. Now, if only I could work out who I bought this drive from..

If possible go to RAID6 which will give you more safety against a failing hard disk. It can even repair data when the "parity" and the "real" data don't agree which RAID5 cannot do.
